Processed using an accelerated fermentation process invented in the 1970s so that the product could resemble naturally aged green Pu’Er as much as possible, this tea from Yunnan yields a strong brew with key notes of rain, lead pencil and earth, as well as certain hidden, fresh, forest notes. It leaves a somewhat rough sensation on the tongue.
