Description
Slightly steamed sencha from Miyazaki, in southern Japan. This tea imparts a golden-green hue and stands out for its rich, creamy body and its sweetness. Green fragrances pervade with hints of fruit, bringing to mind springtime. It leaves a long aftertaste and a feeling of invigoration.
The Sayamakaori cultivar, used for this sencha, was created in 1971 in Saitama province. Known for its ease in cultivation, large yield and hardiness against the cold.
