Description
Skillfully balancing sweet and bitter notes, this organically grown Sencha from Kagoshima, serves up a revitalizing brew, leaving an opulent sensation in the mouth. When drinking it, hints of seaweed, green beans, sun flower seeds and boiled sweetcorn can all be discerned. A must for all aficionados of Japanese teas.
The Asatsuyu cultivar, which was used for this tea, stands out for its rich, full umami taste it gives to teas, and is aptly called a natural gyokuro.
